Ragging is strictly prohibited in AIT Campus. Anyone who indulges in this legal offense will be severely dealt with and an FIR will be lodged against the guilty. Students are given an undertaking at the time of admission that they won’t indulge in this unlawful activity of ragging.
"Ragging in all its forms is totally banned in this institution including in its departments, constituent units, all its premises (academic, residential, sports, kiosks, cafeteria and the like) whether located within the campus or outside and in all means of transportation of students whether public or private.
You are fully aware of the orders of the Government and of Honorable Supreme Court on the Anti-Ragging measures. As per the latest policy all students and parent/guardians are required to submit an affidavit before a student is allowed registration in the University.
In addition, in case of every single incident of ragging, a First Information Report (FIR) will be filed with the local police authorities. The possible punishment includes rigorous imprisonment (in compliance with the order of Supreme Court of India)
